Hey all,
My letter will probably be pretty short as well this week. Things went pretty well. It was great to talk to you all yesterday afternoon. Not too much of note really happened this week. After I got off the phone we headed up to meet 2 girls about 12 who saw their cousin get baptized on Oahu the other week and want to do the same. We set a date for the middle of June so that will be exciting hopefully. We had a good Prime Rib dinner for Mothers Day. The Boarden family fed us and we talked some story about hunting, fishing, church, missionary work, etc. You know the usual stuff you talk about at missionary dinners. After we headed over to Apuna's to wish sis Apuna a happy mothers day. Bro Apuna had just came home from O'ahu. He was over for their daughters Hula Competition and decided since his sister, who lives in the 4th ward was off island, he would check on the 2nd ward. Kinda cool to hear about people running into people in Hawaii.
Today we haven't done much. Elder Robbins and I had a coupon for a free pizza at Pizza Cafe so we did that for lunch. We are probably going to play some wiffle ball until Dinner. Time sure is flying can't believe I am almost half way through. I am excited to see what the future holds. Wednesday ought to be a good time. I realized I have only spent about 25 hrs on Oahu my whole mission so that will be fun. I'm fine to stay off for a while though. ha ha Thanks for always being so supportive. I love you all and promise to send a good email next week. ALOHA!
Love, Elder Tripp
