Hows life going over der on da main land. Things have been interesting enough this week. Sorry I didn't get to email yesterday. It just so happened to be Kamehameha day and the libraries were closed. Glad to here everything got updated on facebook. No, mom we do not get to look at our facebooks while serving, we don't get the same benefits as senior missionaries. I has been nice to be in pigeon talking areas because the Samoan language is structured similar in some parts. like instead of saying the boy is tall, you would say tall, the boy. needless to say I feel like I speak plenty of Samoan pigeon I am learning lots of words, but don't know a ton about structure and the little filler words like and of  is are you know those words. Things have been fairly slow over here. Not many investigators to be teaching right now, but everyone we talk to usually is willing to hear a little lesson. It is just the culture I guess, but we always get fed or given something to drink everywhere we go. I know this sounds kinda lame, but that is probably one of the tougher parts of this ward is keep on eating and working even though I am so full and just want to take a quick power nap between house visits, which reminds me, I do Love that futon! :) Anyway sounds like some good times out there this week.

Tuesday and Wednesday we decided that we should track down more ward members and get to know them better so that is basically what we did. We also found a couple more new investigators. One however went to Samoa for a month yesterday so we are going to have to wait a bit before heading back to teach them more.  not too much to note other than that.

Thursday we went around and visited some investigators who were formers at one point we found a few home and we shared a little with them, but nothing too solid came of them. They were so nice though. They are so easy to love. They love to talk story and share how the bible has helped them, but not much interested in our church. Planting seeds though.

Friday I went on an exchange to pearl ridge area. It is a nice area, except it is a walking area. Not the most fun thing to do, but I enjoyed it. The pad overlooks Pearl Harbor so that was pretty cool. I went with Elder Savage who is a pretty good guy. He goes home next month so he is kinda trunky, but he is still working hard. We found a new investigator which was nice. We also ran into a family that is originally from Molokai and had just got back from visiting so it was cool to see them again.

Saturday we made a visit here and there. We had a few leads up in MIlilani town so we headed there. We met some less actives and a few members over there. I feel like I am getting to see lots of the island, and no matter where we go we tend to find some Samoans to teach. Saturday night we went to some members who informed us the Heat had won. That was good news. We also had a good lesson with a less active who gave us some referrals so pretty successful I guess.

Sunday we just a pretty ordinary Sunday. It is hard to do much work when we study until 11 have ward council at 1  church at 3, dinner at 6 and then call in numbers by 8. Our day is pretty full, but I love it. I love Samoan church. They just put their whole soul into singing the hymns and the talks are spirit packed. I enjoy when some are in English, but even the Samoan ones you can feel the spirit.

Yesterday for P day we played death ball, which is the old Tripp family game of revenge, but with 2 balls. It was lots of fun. a good way to start the week although my arm is a little tired.

Well sorry it is kinda short. Glad everything is going good over there. Let me know if I can do anything I love you all thanks for the package. ALOHA! Tofa soifua!
Love, Elder Tripp
