Things went good again this week. Can't really complain. I am getting my email out a bit late I guess not really since half the fam will be reading this on the same time as I am. Anyway sounds like lots of good happenings are happening all around. I didn't know there were many centipedes around here on O'ahu. At least I have never seen one. Plenty in Ka'u and on Molokai though. So I am curious what a centipede bite's effects are. There are lots of rumor swirling around the mission from you have to go to the Hospital to it is nothing worse than a little bee sting. Anyway this morning we got out early to go hike out to the point. Can't remember the name off the top of my head but it is the western point of O'ahu. It was a fun hike we saw a big monk seal and what not so that was cool. Anyway glad everything seems to have been good. Lets see what I can remember.
Tuesday last week we got called down into Honolulu to pick up some some things for the zone. The assistants happened to be hangin around down there so we talked a bit and then Elder Carrel and Hall showed up as well so it was good to talk to them for a bit as well, anyway Than we headed back to the good ole Makakilo stake center and had dinner and played basketball with the Elders Quorum pretty normal.
Wednesday we had a good solid day. Taught Fe'a and invited him to church and he came. Excellent. and then later that night we had a missionary flood with our ward to invite everyone out to come to our ward FHE tonight for Presidents day. it was well attended plus we had dinner with President Taeoalii which is always awesome, They treat us royally every time we visit and he does so much for the stake. He knows Samoan because he is Samoan and served a mission there as well. Plus he is working hard on learning to Tongan to relate better with the Tongan branch in the stake. I think that is really cool.
Thursday I was off to the west side with Elder Marlowe for an exchange in Waianae ward. It was choke fun and we found some pretty "wild people around which is always interesting and keeps things fresh.
Friday was DLTM day which went well. Our zone is working so hard and applying themselves really well which makes life super easy for us. Although we did need to drop off some stuff off on the west side that people had left around so that was mildly annoying but we made it. We had some good visits and then our dinner for the night ended up cancelling. Bummer, except that the Tongan branch has huge feasts every Friday night at the church so we went and got some Ono Grinds and enjoyed the night.
Saturday we had a baptism in Nanakuli ward to attend and then in the afternoon we spent some time at Bishop Moa's He had been in the hospital for a couple of days but he is good now. They always make it a point to make us feel super special when we go over. so that is always fun. I don't really remember what happened Saturday night. Anyway must have been just regular ha ha.
Sunday was good as usual things are good. it was nice to have Fe'a around for Church to feel the spirit that is always fun to see people show up for some church when they are invited. Kinda running out of things to say. i guess it was fairly boring. Hope all goes well and Utah continues to get warmer especially for my sake because I thought this morning was freezing and it was probably 65 or so. Anyway love you all and Aloha.
Love, Elder Tripp
