Monday Monday

Aloha All,

Life is still going pretty good. This weekend was really successful I thought. Good to hear everyone made it home safely and had a good time over the the windward side. Our side of the Island got pounded about the middle of the week. We got some flash flood warnings although I don't think it was too serious. Primary President sounds fun mom. Dad I am glad your tooth is at least mildly better.

Anyway The FHE went pretty good. We had a good time and a couple of Less actives made it out for some good potluck. It wasn't quite a Molokai potluck, but it sufficed. ha ha.

Tuesday we had our every other transfer interviews. They went nicely. Its always a great time to talk with President and Sister Dalton.  Sister Dalton asked if I was staying healthy, and we, For lack of a better term, "Reminisced" the whole kidney stone fiasco that took place back in Waimea, Wild times. President and I just talked about the zone and how I thought things were looking and i feel like things are still in the upswing. As a Zone we found 35 new investigators to teach which was tops in the mission this week. The zone also did a great job and hitting their assigned times so things could go super smoothly. After we headed down to Wendy's to eat with the AP's. I always enjoy talking about all the good times with Elder Brinkerhoff. We served in the same zone for 6 transfers thus far on the mission. We also we gave Elder Melville specific instructions to make sure when our flights get booked sometime in the near future that Elder Hudson, Brinkerhoff, and I will be as close as possible. Anyway after that we headed around to some less actives and had a great Subway dinner with the Tripp family in the ward.

Wednesday was district meeting day, then was travel day down to Lulu Elder Brooksby had an eye doctor appointment so we headed down just after lunch and got caught in the typical traffic of the afternoon so it ate up most of the day.

Thursday it dumped on us hard. It probably rained for a good portion of the day. We had picked some needed commissary up at the tabernacle on Wednesday and Thursday for the most part was spent getting it out to the other elders as well as driving the Makaha and Nanakuli elders to a couple of appointments since they don't have cars and usually walk most places. so that was that I guess.

Friday I headed out with Kalaeloa ward to go on and exchange with Elder Kim who is the DL. It was a really productive and fun time for me. I have served around Elder Kim briefly while in Ka'u and the Samoan ward, and I didn't really think we had much in common with him. This transfer I have realized we get along pretty well and we had a great time Friday. We taught 7 lessons found and 4 new investigators including 1 new with a date for March. Things were super solid. Just one of those days that for me just fueled my Testimony of the Gospel and just inspired me to keep going strong. Friday night we were talking about stuff and I was just thinking about back in the day how cool it was how far my AAU team has come through the years. 4 of us are out on missions and doing well 5 if you count Reggie, plus Cuff at least has contact with the Church down at school, anyway there we times when I wasn't sure any of us would end up out here, but I am so glad we are!! :) just like the sons of Mosiah.

Saturday we had a couple of baptisms in the zone, and then at night we had a new convert reception. It was for all the converts of 2012 to just have a dinner in their honor. Some testimonies were shared and the spirit was super strong.

Yesterday we had Church which was good sadly Fe'a couldn't come again. After Church we had to go help out the Waianae elders. Their car was broken into. bad deal. Anyway We had WML training and we had some numbers to report. It went smooth though. After we headed down to Bishop Moa's for dinner and called it a night.

Anyway I love you all thanks for everything you guys are the best. I gently rise and softly call Goodnight and Joy be too you all. Love you The Church is true!

Love, Elder Tripp
