Aloha

Hey all,

Once again it is good to hear from everyone. Thanks mom  I think a size 18 will be great. Darn the 23rd is small kine later that I would have anticipated but it works for me. I realized last night that Mothers day is just around the corner so that should be fun. Jake, glad you had fun in Phoenix. Thanks for the flight plan. Kinda exciting for sure. Sadly our baptism fell through again. I remembered him saying something about heading to Molokai again for a few weeks. So we confirmed that Tuesday so the baptism is on the for 27th. Kinda crazy how things seem so sure and then fall back, but the main thing is that it happens so I'm positive for that. Transfers are next week so that is fairly exciting. Pretty sure I will get a new companion to finish it out since Elder Ludovico has been here 6 months and Viliko goes home.

Tuesday was a nice day. We headed up to Christian's place to settle on the new baptism date, and then watched finding faith in Christ. It is my favorite Church produced movie that we can give out proselyting.  I can't seem to remember much more except that it was free ice cream cone day at the Ben & Jerry's in the mall. as long as you waited in the line you could get as many cones as you wanted. We ended up having lunch at the mall so I had about 5 then and then 2 more times during the day, we stopped to use the restroom and it was just convenient to get a cone right. :)

Wednesday we had to run more errands down in town. We had to pick some things up at the office and hit the doctor for Elder Viliko for something for his going home. That evening was the cottage meeting that is once a transfer at the mission home. It is a meeting for recent converts to share their testimonies and a good thing to bring an investigator too. Our stats show 85% of investigators that attend are baptized so we got Christian out to that which was nice.

Thursday was our service day we helped Bro Kanahele with a house to get it all sanded down so it could be painted. Long job, but lots of fun. We had the 1st ward elders too so that made it a little more fun. not much else happened that day I don't think.

Friday was good we had a good day of lessons. One that sticks out was with a girl named Ulu she has been investigating kinda lightly for a few months. We finally got talking about plan of salvation and I think things have now headed in the right direction. I know she wants more family support which we are praying for, but things should be up on the climb. That night we headed to the mall for dinner with members which was fun.

Saturday I got to relive my Lumberjack days of Moloka'i we had a great time chopping down some mango trees for a member. Sure was good times way back when.

Church was nice as usual. Not too much to report on that. After Church we had a good lesson with a family of 4 and they all committed to be baptized on  May 10th so that is exciting for us.:) Perfect capstone to the week. It Honestly doesn't get better than that. Thanks for all your emails. I know this one is kinda short. Hope all is well. Glad everyone had fun safe trips. Love you all, and ALOHA

Love Elder Tripp
